The Admiral is aboard, inspects and approves (whew)

We bid до свидания to our Russian comrades, adios to my Cuban helper, and later, dudes and dudettes to the gang at CHBS.

Interesting sites in the canals, like the wall of this guy’s house (two-story garage?):

from canal…

to lake…

to harbor, and, huh?

Admiral on deck!

Check out the sea temperature – hotter than some hot tubs I’ve soaked in!

Ahhhhhhh, at home, at last…

Enough boat, already… We’re going to Orlando for a couple of days to take in Cirque du Soleil. Then mooch off Mike and Annie for awhile in Texas, then maybe come back and work on the boat’s interior.
Today’s sortie: 24 nautical miles (27.6 statute miles), 3.7 engine hours, one lock, and gosh, doesn’t this just sound like old times!
Lator, ‘gators!
The boat looks great! Yes we did get the book, Mom read it and is sooooo impressed. Have a great trip seeing Mike & Annie.
Love ya.
